Founded in 1392, it is Switzerland's oldest commercial entity. Vines are all located in UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Lavaux'. Work is done by hand on the vines and in the cellar, with small yields, long maturation times and following a philosophy of quality and respect of the environment.






All the vines are cultivated bio-dynamically, a method which prohibits any use of chemical products. Demeter certification since 2018.

Philippe Gex built his Domaine after assuming control of his family’s vineyards in the 1980s
In 2002, the legendary “Clos du Crosex Grillé”, owned for 80 years by the Winston Churchill family, was added to the estate


In 2019, Philippe teamed up with André Hoffmann, a renowned environmentalist and son of Luc Hoffmann, co-founder of the World Wildlife Fund, to convert fully to organic viticultural practices


The biodynamic approach, brought in progressively since 1999, is now used throughout the vineyards.
Their wines are praised for their expression of terroir, purity, elegance, and balance


The Colombe coat of arms belongs to the Paccot family since 1356. In the 50s, Jules Paccot bought the vineyards, which remained in the family ever since with Raymond, Roger and now Laura who all work to establish its reputation




For over 400 years, Château Maison Blanche has symbolized the Yvorne vineyard with its beauty, its eventful history and its magic.
In the 1930s, the wine-growing families of Rolle, Schenk and Rosset, bought the Château and devoted it to viticulture. The wines are among the icons of Vaud. (falstaff wineguide 2023)
